Project “God Mother”
The objective of “God Mother” Project is to help, through fixed donations to be made during a fixed period of time, the improvement of the health conditions of a specific child, avoiding reinternation in the hospital.
The general donation is indicated by the doctor that have directed the family to Repartir, but the specific items to be donated are defined after an analysis by the social assistant. Depending on each specific case, the items can include: basic or special food, milk or diaper.
There is also another way of beeing a “God Mother”,in wich the donation is made through money donation. In this case, the “God Mother” doesn´t help a specific child, but the donated money can be used to buy necessary items for any of the assisted children of the project. These items can include other kind of articles necessary to the family, such as: water filter, quilt, etc.
In both ways of participating of the Project, the “God Mothers” receive a initial report with informations of the family situation, and periodic reports indicating the new conditions of the family and also, discriminating every donation made.
